Infrastructure
In business it is important that you chose your partners well. We applied this to our software and hardware partners, we have only selected best of breed in each area. Our technology works utilitizing the following technologies:
- IBM: eServers host all our solutions whilst Domino is the backbone of our technology.
- Xerox: Variable Intelligent Poscript Printer software peforms all gSite's composition.
- Adobe: We have harnessed Adobe's PDF technology and use Distiller to produce PDF.
- PHP/Apache: All web sites are hosted and developed using PHP and Apache. These are open source solutions but are the industry standard.
- mySQL: An open source database system which again is an industry standard.
Security
We take security extremely seriously. The core technonlgy of gStie is IBM's Domino which is inherently secure, so secure in fact that the US government have banned its export to certain "non friendly" countries.
Connection from server to server requires certified connections, whilst customers logging on have domain, user id and passwords before being allowed entry.
Resilience
Global web technologies are 24x7 solutions. We recognise this and have put into place extensive resilience and reliability to maintain a solid interface for our customers.
- We recognise component and software failure, but also has contingency for resizing to meet high demand.

- T2 host incorporating load balanced air conditioning, UPS and generators
- Fail over connection to backbone with significant expandibility
- Hot swap and expandable servers
